Flood in Agboyi/Oko Agbon

It is no more news how flood has overtaken some states in Nigeria. Many people have been rendered homeless, many properties have been lost and worst of all, innocent lives have been lost. There are two phases to the stories banking on why there is flood everywhere.

I. Some said a Cameroonian dam was opened

ii. Some said the Cameroonian dam exploded

However, the fact is that something happened from a dam and it has caused a lot of perils to many communities and livee.

The Agboyi community consist of Agboyi 1, Agboyi 2, Agboyi 3 and Oko Agbon. These four communities have been experiencing flood for so many years. Few weeks back, it was reported that a young child was carried away by the water. The land is tagged has a neglected land on the part of the Lagos State Government.

As at this right up, these communities are going through a lot. The flood is chasing people away from their houses, spoiling valuable properties, etc... People can't sleep properly at night any more because of the flood and the people are calling on the government and NGOs to come to their aid.
