Bloody Remembrance

Two days ago was our two years anniversary
Or perhaps, our two years remembrance
Sad remembrance! We remember blood and death
That night is a scar on the face of humanity

They evoked bullets to rain on our youths
Torrential bullets drenched the bodies of our youths
They sent known-unknown gunmen to the known
Oh!!! A land with silenced youths cannot grow

Parents lost sons and daughters; we lost our friends
Our flag is still stained with innocent blood
The voice of those murdered mortals still cry
To fight for our rights is to loose our rice

They know we know they chill us with sorrow's snow
Tell them we saw - tell them we heard
Their lies are outdated; our reasonings are updated
They went beyond corruption to stab our souls

They gave birth to that which history will nurture
Adieu to our fallen brothers, sisters and friends
They planted the seed of fearlessness for us to nurture
This fight won't halt until we achieve a new land
